Form FL-160 is the Property Declaration. It identifies each asset and debt as community or separate property and states values, so the court can confirm a complete and fair division in the judgment. It is usually prepared together with the FL-142 Schedule of Assets and Debts.
When you file FL-160
- As part of the preliminary and final declarations of disclosure in a divorce or legal separation.
- When the parties want a clear, itemized record of property and debts attached to a judgment.
What we prepare
- FL-160 Property Declaration completed from your inventory.
- The companion FL-142 Schedule of Assets and Debts when needed.
- Organization of supporting statements and titles you provide.
What we do NOT do
Imverica is a registered California Legal Document Assistant — not a law firm. We record the property and characterization you provide, at your direction. We do not advise you on whether an asset is community or separate, value disputed property, or represent you. For advice we maintain referrals to licensed attorneys.
Authority: California Family Code §§2104-2105 (declarations of disclosure) and §§760, 770 (community vs. separate property); California Rules of Court, title 5. Document preparation only — not legal advice.
