FL-300 — Request for Order

FL-300 is how you ask the court for orders — custody and visitation, child or spousal support, or changes to existing orders. We prepare the request and its attachments at your direction — fixed fee, multilingual intake.

What an FL-300 involves

A Request for Order usually needs financial and custody attachments. Tap a tile to see what each is for.

Form names, numbers, and requirements shown here are general information from official government sources (USCIS, EOIR, California Courts, CA Secretary of State, IRS), provided for informational purposes only — not legal advice. You choose the forms; Imverica prepares them at your direction.

Form FL-300, the Request for Order, is the general-purpose motion in California family court. You use it to ask a judge to make or change orders — child custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, attorney-fee contributions, property control, and more — either temporarily while a case is open or as a modification later.

Common uses

  • Temporary custody, visitation, or support while a divorce is pending.
  • Modifying an existing custody or support order after circumstances change.
  • Enforcement-related requests and other orders the court can grant.

What we prepare

  • FL-300 with the specific orders you are requesting and your supporting declaration.
  • Attachments such as FL-150 (for support) and child-custody declarations.
  • Proof of service so the other party is properly notified before the hearing.

What we do NOT do

Imverica is a registered California Legal Document Assistant — not a law firm. We prepare the request you direct and write down the facts you provide. We do not advise you on what orders to seek, argue your case, or represent you at the hearing, and we do not guarantee any outcome. For advice we maintain referrals to licensed family-law attorneys.

Authority: California Rules of Court 5.92 (Request for Order); California Family Code support and custody provisions (e.g., §3020 et seq., §4055). Document preparation only — not legal advice.
