Form SI-550, the corporation Statement of Information, tells the California Secretary of State who the officers and directors are, where the corporation is located, and who its agent for service of process is. Filing it on time keeps the corporation in good standing; missing it leads to penalties and possible suspension.
When you file SI-550
- An initial statement is due within 90 days of incorporating.
- After that, corporations file every year (unlike LLCs, which file every two years).
- File an update whenever officers, directors, the address, or the agent change.
What we prepare
- Form SI-550 completed from your current corporate information.
- Updates when your officers, directors, address, or agent change.
What we do NOT do
Imverica is a registered California Legal Document Assistant — not a law firm or tax advisor. We complete the statement from the information you provide, at your direction. We do not give legal or tax advice or act as your agent for service of process. For advice we maintain referrals to licensed attorneys and CPAs.
Authority: California Corporations Code §1502 (corporation Statement of Information). Document preparation only — not legal or tax advice.
